Since 1958, this roadside drive in has been an icon in the town of Livingston. You drive up, place your order at the window and eat your food on one of the concrete picnic tables. Today the heat was brutal (101 degrees by my thermometer), so I decided to stay in my vehicle for this review. Dearmans Soda Fountain 09/07/2009
Dearmans's has been a legendary burger joint for many years in the Baton Rouge area. Years ago Dearman's shut down, only to reopen recently under now owners. I had never eaten at Dearmans before, but have heard a lot about it being the best place to go for a burger. Since I was in the area today, I decided to stop by and try it out. Chimes East 07/30/2009
For lunch today, I decided on one of Baton Rouge’s favorite restaurants, Chimes East. Normally I go for the seafood poboys or pasta which are fantastic, but today I decided on the rabbit and sausage gumbo with side salad. Cheeburger Cheeburger 03/04/2009
