Upon entering Coyote Blues I noticed a very large and vibrant dining area bustling with people left and right and yet there was no wait, which is a nice turn of events to most dining experiences. We were quickly hustled to a table on the far left of the dining area and sat at a small table near the window. As soon as we sat down the noise sank in.

While driving around in circles in the Drusilla area, hunger suddenly came over me. I kept driving, passing a few restaurants, none of which seemed to be calling out to me. Suddenly out of nowhere, there stood Rocco's New Orleans Style Poboy's seemingly begging me to stop by to get my munch on.

A favorite pastime of mine is driving down river road and enjoying the historical scenery. I do pretty often, driving up and down both sides of the river and often discover new places. One of my recent discoveries was Big Jake's BBQ while passing through Saint Gabriel, just west of Gonzales.

Long have I been a fan of food, but only recently was that love reignited with a fresh take on it. Newly opened in July of 2010 Niche Restaurant has found a place in my heart and stomach.

Today I got the chance to review one of my favorite restaurants in Baton Rouge, Dempsey’s. Dempsey’s is a small café located on Coursey Blvd that offers home-style poboys and authentic Louisiana cuisine.

While I was in New orleans today, I decided to stop by one of Louisiana's most famous barbecue restaurants, The Joint. The Joint is a small hole-in-the-wall barbecue restaurant serving up some of the best ribs you will ever eat.

As big of a barbecue fan as I am, I'm ashamed to admit that I have just recently ate at Voodoo BBQ for the first time.  Even though you can now pretty much find a Voodoo BBQ anywhere in the area now days, I was finally compelled enough to give it a try.

Ah, The Shed! Definitely one of the best barbecue restaurants I have ever eaten at. Just past Biloxi off of interstate 10 you will find The Shed, a roadside barbecue shack that sits inside an RV park.

Over the past few years, Baton Rouge has seen a surge in Asian restaurants. Asian cuisine has become one of the most popular food genres in todays culture, and no other food type seems to be exploding in popularity like sushi.

If you live in the Baton Rouge area, then I'm sure you are familiar with Arzi’s. Arzi’s has multiple locations around the area and most feature a drive-thru for Greek on the go.

While at the Mall of Louisiana today, I decided to go ahead and review one lucky (or possibly unlucky) place for lunch. My selection was Arzi’s.
